Parish Events

Hiking Group

This group will meet once a month from June – August to provide a place for activity and fellowship. All hikes will be moderately easy, short, and family friendly. If you can’t make the hike, join us after for refreshments at one of our local hangouts.

  • Wednesday, June 19th – Hike the M (about a 3 mile loop). Meet at MT Tech/ Big Butte Trails Archway at 6:00pm. Afterward, meet at Butte Brewery.
  • Wednesday, July 17th – Thompson Park (about a 4 mile loop). Meet at Sagebrush Flats at 6:00pm. Afterwards meet at Slainte.
  • Wednesday, August 21st – Blacktail Loop (4 mile loop). Meet at the Blacktail Trailhead at 6:00pm. Afterwards meet at Shawn O’Donnell’s.
  • Wednesday, September 18th – Mauds S ( 4 mile loop). Meet at the Maud S trailhead at 6:00pm. Afterward meet at Slainte.
  • Wednesday, October 16th – Behind Tech.Meet at MT Tech/ Big Butte Trails Archway (behind the Mining Resource Building) at 6:00pm. Afterwards meet at Slainte.

Oktoberfest

Join us for Oktoberfest at the Original Mine Yard on September 14th. This quintessential fall event is perfect for families, couples, and singles in the community.

Marriage Enrichment Course

The Marriage Course is a seven-week, plug-and-play course that has a production value that rivals a movie theater. It does a great job of mixing instruction with skills practice with the accompanying manual. The course hits on all the key interpersonal and intrapersonal skills one would want in a survey of relationship health skills. There is no group sharing on the course. Couples who use the Marriage Course will only converse with and share with one another.

This course will be every Wednesday night from October 9th – November 20th from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at Butte Central High School. This is the same time as RE for convenience for parents. If your kids are not in RE or are too young, we will provide child care in a separate classroom.
